COVID Protocols
Before booking an appointment, there are new public health protocols that all clients will need to adhere to in order to help protect everyone’s health. Please read these changes carefully.
The following protocols have been implemented to comply with the Occupational Health & Safety requirements as approved by Nova Scotia’s Chief Medical Officer.
All Clients are Required to Adhere to the Following:
Before Appointment Date:
-
Review the attached COVID questionnaire;
-
If you answered 'yes' to any question on the COVID questionnaire, excluding listed symptoms that are part of a pre-existing condition, please wait to book an appointment; and
-
If you notice COVID symptoms, before your appointment, please cancel, and rebook once you have recovered;
Day of Appointment:
-
Refrain from bringing anyone to the clinic other than those necessary for the appointment;
-
Upon arrival, you will be asked questions from the COVID questionnaire. If you are experiencing symptoms, treatment must be postponed;
-
All clients are required to:
-
wear a mask (please bring one with you - if you do not have one you can buy one here for $3);
-
sanitize their hands upon arrival;
-
sign a form consenting to treatment;
-
abide by the 6’ social distancing guidelines with other patients;
-
arrive at the clinic at the exact time of your appointment; and
-
leave immediately thereafter to avoid unnecessary contact with others.
-
Adhering to these protocols will help to ensure your safety while allowing time to properly sterilize the space prior to treatment.
For my part, I will be diligent with screening clients, hand washing, and a cleaning schedule that will ensure all rooms are thoroughly sterilized between each visit and throughout the day to help maintain the safety of everyone in the clinic space.
These are all practices with which we need to become familiar. There will be a learning curve, and I’m sure that there will be hiccups along the way, but my goal is, and has always been, to provide care and support for you all in the safest manner possible. Please be patient as we learn to navigate this difficult situation together. I will send updates to you all as necessary.
I understand that there may be some apprehension in returning to a clinic at this time, so feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns and I will get back to you as soon as I am able.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding,

Crystal
